Why does the world always criticize?

The world around will always point fingers.. no matter what.

The question on debate was ‘why does the world always criticize?’  I feel the question is not right.  The world does not criticize, they just talk.   So there is never a question ‘why’.  If we accept what the world says, we call it advice and if it is not taken it is criticism.  So it all depends on how you take it.   I remember a poem by ‘Taslima Nasreen’  ‘go girl’.  Part of it is below.. The poem must have been written for herself.. but I think the world is the same to most human beings in most situation.  It is not to be complaining about people and attitudes, its just the way it is..

They said—take it easy…
Said—calm down…
Said—stop talkin’…
Said—shut up….
They said—sit down….
Said—bow your head…
Said—keep on cryin’, let the tears roll…

What should you do in response?

You should stand up now
Should stand right up
Hold your back straight
Hold your head high…
You should speak
Speak your mind
Speak it loudly
Scream!

They said—take it easy…
Said—calm down…
Said—stop talkin’…
Said—shut up….
They said—sit down….
Said—bow your head…
Said—keep on cryin’, let the tears roll…

What should you do in response?

Reminds me of the story of the father, the son and the donkey….

Once a father and his son were passing through the market with their donkey. The father sat on the donkey and the boy preferred to walk.

As they traveled, on-lookers said: “How terrible. A big strong man like that riding while the poor boy has to walk.”

So the father got off and he let the boy ride. Then people said: “How disrespectful. The father walks while his son rides.”

So they both got on the back of the donkey. And then people said: “How cruelTwo people riding on that poor donkeys back.”

So they both got off the donkey and started walking on foot. People said: “How foolish. Both of them walk while a perfectly healthy donkey has nothing on his back.”

The man and boy got off and tried to think what to do. They thought and thought, and eventually found themselves carrying the donkey to their shoulder.

The world will keep talking, no matter what.
